Smartphone Eclipse Filters

Capturing a solar eclipse with a smartphone requires proper protection for the camera lens during the partial phases of the eclipse. A smartphone solar filter is placed directly over the phone’s camera lens, reducing the intense sunlight that reaches the camera sensor and allowing the eclipse to be photographed safely.

For the 2 August 2027 total solar eclipse, Eclipse Glasses Europe will also offer smartphone camera filters alongside our eclipse glasses. The filters are compact, easy to use and suitable for most smartphones, making them a practical addition for hotels, resorts, tourism organisations and eclipse events.
